Farm Cobaltwing before spending rare materials
Start with the base monster. The video points to Spirit Grove as the main Cobaltwing location and Spirit Grove Red Rift as an important high-value route when it appears. Do not spend evolution materials until the Cobaltwing copy you want to build is ready for the full S to SS path.
- Use Spirit Grove as the core Cobaltwing farming area.
- Run Spirit Grove Red Rift when you can access it.
- Save your best Cobaltwing copy for the main build.
Rank Cobaltwing from A to S, then prepare SS fusion
The first rank-up needs 8 A-rank Cobaltwings total and Sovereign Cores. After S-rank, the SS step becomes the real bottleneck because it needs Purple Ascension Plates and S-rank pets.
- Budget 8 A-rank Cobaltwings total for the A to S step.
- Bring Sovereign Cores for the rank fusion.
- Start collecting extra S-rank pets before you reach the SS fusion screen.
Craft Purple Ascension Plates early
Purple Ascension Plates slow the route down more than the button press itself. The video calls out Solstar Cores, Glacier Shards, and gold as key plate crafting costs, so check those resources before starting the final fusion session.
- Solstar Cores are one of the plate bottlenecks in the video.
- Glacier Shards and gold are also part of the prep pressure.
- Five Purple Ascension Plates are shown for the SS Cobaltwing route.
Roll Crystalwing at the Pet Evolution Chamber
Once Cobaltwing is SS, move to the Pet Evolution Chamber. CAM Hub's Cobaltwing family page lists Crystalwing in the Cobaltwing evolution family with Scythe x12 and Refined Ice Gem x30, and the recorded video shows a 21.17% Crystalwing chance on Si's account.
- Bring 12 Scythes per Crystalwing attempt.
- Bring 30 Refined Ice Gems per Crystalwing attempt.
- Plan for Lazuliwing or Rubywing misses if you do not hit Crystalwing.
Apply mutations before evolving if you care about index credit
Si recommends thinking about mutation timing before the evolution button. If you apply mutations first, missed branch outcomes may still help your monster index instead of becoming a dead roll for collection progress.
- Use mutation timing as an index strategy.
- Do not assume the first Crystalwing roll will land.
- Decide whether the build copy or index progress matters more for your account.
Finish the build before judging Crystalwing
Crystalwing's value comes from the finished build, not only the evolution result. The guide rerolls Evolution Multiplier, uses Potential Serum to reach +10, levels Crystalwing to 95 with feeder pets, equips strong gear, and then checks the real dungeon result.
- Use Chaos Potions and Pure Chaos Potions carefully for Evolution Multiplier.
- Potential Serum can push the finished monster much higher.
- Feeder pets are useful when you want to save fruit.
Test Crystalwing in Inferno Dungeon
The final test is the real reason to build Crystalwing. Glacial Wall, Healing Water Ball, and Dungeon Guard make it a defensive team piece, and Si's finished team becomes much safer in Inferno Dungeon after adding Crystalwing.
- Glacial Wall adds a max-HP shield to all pets.
- Healing Water Ball helps Crystalwing stay alive.
- Dungeon Guard reduces team damage taken in dungeons.
