- Go to Merkwood before starting serious seasonal boss attempts.
- Grind for a strong catch if you want a cleaner solo route.
- Save high-value catch balls for a shiny, prismatic, or high-rank version when it appears.
Set the four-move plan
The guide route is simple, but the turn order matters. Healing comes first, damage stacking comes second, and big damage comes after your HP is stable.
- Seed Bomb or Leaf Bomb gives Growth healing.
- Fighting Will 1 or Fighting Will 2 stacks special attack.
- Verdant Beam is the steady damage button once setup is live.
- Leaf Storm Tier 3 is the burst option, but it can cost health against Clipexor.
Use Wispreign as the easier first clear
Light King Wispreign is the cleaner first target in Cyclone9's route. The video recommends about level 150 for solo attempts, then shows the fight stabilizing after a few Growth stacks and Fighting Will setup.
- Start with Growth stacks until recovery is keeping pace.
- Build special attack once the healing loop is safe.

Treat Clipexor as the gear check
Dark King Clipexor asks for more levels, more defensive setup, and cleaner early turns. Cyclone9 recommends about level 180 for solo attempts and warns that the fight can still fail if the opening pressure is too high or your gear is weak.
- Stack more Growth early than you need for Wispreign.
- Prioritize HP, defense, special defense, and damage reduction.
- Delay Leaf Storm if the health cost would make the next hit unsafe.
Use a party when the solo route is not ready
