Use summons as your damage plan
Cyclone9's route is built around letting Ancient Dragon summons handle the damage while the player survives. The video uses normal Summoning: Ancient Dragon potions rather than fully upgraded Frost Dragon or Hell Dragon summons, which makes the setup easier to understand for players still inside the event grind.
- Summon Ancient Dragons before or during the fight.
- Keep recasting as summons despawn.
- Let the summons carry damage instead of trying to win with direct wand casts.
Reset into HP when survival is the bottleneck
The build shown in the video puts everything into HP, with nothing in attack, cooldown reduction, or movement speed. That turns the fight into a tank route: survive the boss patterns while your summons keep working.
- HP is the priority for this specific solo method.
- Attack stats matter less when summons are the main damage source.
- The route is slower, but it is much safer for solo attempts.
Equip Wings of the Tree God
Wings of the Tree God is the important wand for this route because the video shows it giving summon creature attack boost and summon creature duration boost. Those two stats line up directly with the HP Summoner plan.
- Use the summon attack boost to make your dragons hit harder.
- Use the duration boost so summons stay active longer.
- Treat this as a boss-fight wand, not just a cosmetic event item.
Stand close under Ancient Dragon
Cyclone9 points out that standing under or at the feet of Ancient Dragon helps avoid some of the pulsing damage and often keeps the flame breath from landing cleanly. The exact spot still takes practice, but the goal is to stay close instead of panic-flying around the arena.
- Move under the boss when the fight starts.
- Use HP to absorb mistakes while you learn the pattern.
- Reposition if the pulse or breath starts clipping you too often.
Parry the fireball if your HP is not enough
The video also gives a backup mechanic for players who are not as tanky yet: watch the dragon's mouth. When it lights up, the fireball is coming. Parry right after the cast to avoid taking the hit.
- Watch the mouth-light cue.
- Parry after the fireball is cast, not too early.
- Use the parry route while you build enough HP for cleaner kills.
Use Dragon Egg rewards to improve the summon route
The kill shown in the video rewards a Dragon Egg, which feeds directly into more Ancient Dragon potion crafting. That makes the boss loop useful even after your first clear because stronger summon potions improve future attempts.
- Ancient Dragon can reward Dragon Eggs.
- Dragon Eggs let you craft more Ancient Dragon summon potions.
- Better ranked summons make later boss farming easier.
