Start with the right Abyssal Drake
Cyclone9 uses a female S-rank Abyssal Drake because the recorded breeding system makes the female parent determine the offspring line. If you want repeated Oblivion Drake offspring later, gender and rank matter before the evolution roll starts.
- Use a female copy when breeding is the main plan.
- If your best Abyssal Drake is male, budget for a Gender Swap Potion before the breeding step.
- Only spend rare mutation items before evolving if index credit matters more than saving resources.
Make SS before evolving when breeding matters
The video upgrades Abyssal Drake to SS before evolution using five purple Ascension Plates and five extra S-rank pets. This is expensive, but it keeps the finished line better positioned for SS offspring once super breeding begins.
Farm Tri-cannon Arms at Coilwork City
Tri-cannon Arm is the Patch 0.46 evolution material for this route. CAM Hub lists it as a legendary evolution material from Coilwork City, and Cyclone9 farms the new Coilwork City boss for the material in the patch and evolution videos.
- Plan around 12 Tri-cannon Arms per attempt.
- Use admin abuse, viewer runs, or boss windows when they help you farm faster.
- Do not start the pity chase with only one attempt worth of boss materials unless you are comfortable stopping early.
Use 35 Refined Fire Gems for the real attempt
Cyclone9 fills the recipe with 35 Refined Fire Gems, not only the minimum visible stack. That raises the displayed Oblivion Drake chance close to 18%, but the miss chance is still high enough that Reversion Potions and pity progress are part of the expected cost.
Use miss evolutions for index, then revert
The run hits Vivas Drake and Terra Drake before Oblivion Drake. Cyclone9 checks their skills for index context, then reverts because neither miss fits the main build target as well as Oblivion Drake.
Build toward Spire and control utility
Oblivion Drake's Fire Dash gives 95% damage reduction while moving through enemies, Earth Shatter adds area damage plus stun, and the passive gives +50% Endless Spire damage. That makes the first build direction Spire climbing and control, not a generic auto-farm claim.
Super breed after the target lands
The late-game plan uses Celestial Genesis Fruit after the evolution. The fruit costs five Genesis Fruits and 100 Vitality Essence, and the video shows higher regular mutation inheritance plus low X-mutation inheritance chances from a prepared parent.
- Prepare the father or support parent before spending Celestial Genesis Fruit.
- Cyclone9's target parent has Fortify plus X Shiny, X Fairy, and X Huge.
- Expect multiple breeding attempts if you want SS, Fortify, and a specific X mutation on one offspring.
