Decide whether to make SS first
Cyclone9 starts with a female S-rank Abyssal Drake and upgrades it to SS before evolving. That costs five purple Ascension Plates plus five extra S-rank pets, but it makes sense for a breeding-first plan because the final female line can pass the monster family into future offspring.
- Use SS first when the Abyssal Drake is strong enough to become a long-term breeding base.
- Keep a male copy or a Gender Swap Potion plan in mind if your target breeder is not female.
- Skip the expensive route only when you are chasing index credit or cannot spare the fusion materials.
Farm the Coilwork City boss for Tri-cannon Arms
The evolution material bottleneck is the Tri-cannon Arm from the Patch 0.46 Coilwork City boss. Cyclone9 also points players toward the Dragon Evolution event and Mythical Chests as practical ways to chase or rebuild the Abyssal Drake line before starting the evolution.
- Plan around 12 Tri-cannon Arms per evolution attempt.
- Use the current Dragon Evolution event chests if you still need Abyssal Drake copies.
- Expect repeated boss farming before a pity-backed run is safe.
Use 35 Refined Fire Gems per serious attempt
The recipe screen starts lower, but Cyclone9 fills the fire-material slots to 35 Refined Fire Gems to raise the displayed Oblivion Drake chance to just under 18%. That still leaves a large miss chance, so the run treats Reversion Potions and secret pity as part of the real budget.
Expect Vivas Drake and Terra Drake misses
Cyclone9 lands both alternate evolutions before the target. Vivas Drake and Terra Drake give index progress, but the video does not treat either miss as worth keeping over Oblivion Drake for the main build.
Judge Oblivion Drake as an Endless Spire candidate
Oblivion Drake brings Fire Dash with 95% damage reduction, Earth Shatter with knockback and stun, and a +50% Endless Spire damage passive. That makes the first read strong for Spire climbing, but the video correctly leaves the final verdict for a fully bred and enhanced test.
- The dash can let the pet enter danger while heavily reducing incoming damage.
- The area stun gives it a real control role instead of only raw damage.
- The +50% Endless Spire passive is the reason the page targets Spire search intent.
Use super breeding after the evolution
The post-evolution plan uses Celestial Genesis Fruit, which costs five Genesis Fruits and 100 Vitality Essence. Cyclone9 prepares a Fortify parent with X Shiny, X Fairy, and X Huge, then uses super breeding to chase SS offspring with trait and X-mutation inheritance.
